John Rood
 An early member of the NAA's New Media Federation, John formerly managed web production and hosting for Lee Enterprises. He was part of a team that helped create Lee's Townnews.com network of medium and small market newspaper web sites. He is familiar with most major newspaper advertising systems, having led Lee's initiative to put the classifieds of more than 100 newspapers online.
Dan Adams
 Dan spent most of his media career with Lee Enterprises Inc. In his 18 years with Lee, he gained sales and management experience in classified and retail advertising, marketing, circulation, shoppers, business journals and the Internet. Markets included Billings, Montana; Madison, Wisconsin; Portland, Oregon; and Quad Cities, Iowa. He also served as vice president of advertising for Tucson Newspapers in Arizona.
In 2006, he became a partner with ITZ Publishing. ITZ is a strategic consulting partner for online media. We employ research on audience, site-user behaviors and consumer spending patterns to inform product development, site design and navigation, and revenue strategies. Our clients range from web startups to major media companies (companies like philly.com, & denverpost.com) . They look to us for experience and guidance on all aspects of successful site development, including social networking, user-generated content, marketplace-driven SEO, paid content, new products and sales.
In 2006, Dan also formed a web development and consulting company, Xperiencenow.com. Xperiencenow.com has assisted businesses both large and small with web design, social networking, analytics, SEO and SEM, marketing services and general business consulting. His customer base includes restaurants, real estate companies, plastic surgeons and many more.
Dan and his wife Kirsten also own Lighthouse Homecare in the Quad-Cities. We have a multitude of services, up to and including nursing services. |
